North American B-25J Mitchell

B-25 Mitchell is one of the most famous bombers in the world. The B-25 was well known in many wartime missions including making the first bombing raid on Tokyo, taking off from an aircraft carrier. A total of around 10,000 airplanes were produced between 1941 and 1945. The B-25J is its last version. It features, among other things, ‘glass nose’ and two powerful Pratt & Whitney R-2600-29 engines with up to 1700 horsepower. The aircraft you will see in Leszno belongs to the fleet of The Flying Bulls. It was produced in 1945 and is considered one of the most beautiful aircraft in Europe. It did not take part in the war, was converted into a civil aircraft, renovated and today it pleases the eye of spectators all over the Old Continent.
