SIAI-Marchetti S.211 is an Italian jet whose history dates back to 1976. The first S.211 took off in 1981. The airplane joined the air forces of Singapore and Haiti and still flies today in the Philippine Air Force. The more widely known Aermacchi M-345 aircraft was based on this very aircraft.
